Moore Postdoctoral Fellowship in Quantum Materials Theory
The Condensed Matter Theory group at the California Institute of Technology invites applications for the Moore Postdoctoral Fellowship in Quantum Materials Theory, beginning in Fall 2020.
This postdoctoral program is part of the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation's Emergent Phenomena in Quantum Systems initiative (EPiQS).
The Moore Postdoctoral Fellowship has a three-year duration, conditional upon reasonable performance, offers freedom in choosing research direction, independence, and possibility to work with multiple faculty members.
The selected candidate should have completed their Ph.D. degree by the time they start their assignment, should show outstanding research in theoretical condensed matter physics commensurate with the level of the position, and an ability to identify and pursue research problems independently while working well in an interactive and dynamic setting.
All candidates should apply online. Deadline is November 15, 2019. Postdoctoral candidates must submit curriculum vitae (with email address and citizenship), a statement of research interests, and a list of publications (refereed papers on top), and ensure that at least 3 letters of reference are submitted on their behalf.
