List of the materials to submit to the Division Office:
- Memo from Faculty Sponsor requesting the appointment. Should include: justification, full name and proposed title, period of appointment, terms and conditions.
- Current CV and a List of publications that differentiates between reports, conference proceedings, and publications in refereed journals.
- Statement of research, accomplishments and goals.
- Names of 3 to 5 members of PMA Faculty who should form a review committee.
After reviewing the request, the Division Chair will appoint an ad hoc committee of PMA faculty to review the case materials and make a recommendation. The committee will solicit letters of reference in support of the appointment to include with the report. The committee's report will be sent to the PMA faculty for a vote, and then taken to the Institute Academic Council (IACC) and, if applicable, to the Board meeting for final approval. Please note that the entire process may take several months to complete.
